A "Tales of Transformation " Story

Office middle-manager James was just picking up a few tasks the receptionist usually took care of. She was going to be gone for a while. Meanwhile, James' manager, Maureen, is clashing with her boss, Barry.

Then, for some reason, the coffee starts to taste a little funny. Especially the coffee that Barry meant for Sheila to drink. James didn't like the taste at all. For reasons no one understands, the office boss, Mr. Huberson seems especially irate that James drank the wrong cup of coffee.

Well, things then get back to normal. Mostly normal. James decides to just be the receptionist. And why not try some new clothes. And his hair is just growing like crazy. Maureen also decieds to try some new things. In fact, just about everyone in the office is making new, bold, statements in dress and lifestyle.

Except for Barry and Mr. Huberson. You don't think this has anything to do with the fact they all work with advanced biogenetic materials, do you? Of course not.
