Himetarou (1994 manga)

"Himetarou" by YASUHARA Ichiru (writer) & OOMOTO Kei (artist) is one of my favorite manga stories (it's a one-shot short story, about 70 pages long).

It has not yet been posted at the usual manga translation websites, but I just came across a site where someone has posted English texts alongside the raw Japanese pages.

I suspect it was an influence on the manga "Pretty Face" by KANO Yasuhiro (6 vols., 2002-2003).

One of my favorite things about this story is how the creators dealt with the manga trope of the love-struck boy (in this case, Kouno) having a bloody nose. LOL!!!

Ack! Sorry I didn't see this earlier. It is an improved revision: The images are larger, and the English has been fitted into the word bubbles.
